An early years expert is encouraging practitioners to swap plastic imitation fruit and vegetables for a basket of real produce.
At the Early Years National Conference in Lincolnshire in May, consultant and trainer Mary Barlow will give a keynote speech at the Life Beyond Plastic session urging delegates to swap plastic toys for natural objects to enrich children's learning.
