Children 1st purchased the original site’s adjoining building and car park in order to provide improved parking facilities and a remodelled entrance.
The new-look nursery boasts CCTV and electronic access, a dedicated baby suite, areas for toddlers including a market place, farm area, ball pool and woodland story room, a glass lift to access all areas of the four-storey building, a Food Tech zone where children can experiment with cooking, and a staff training facility.
The children have been involved in the process throughout, from initial consultations about what they wanted in their new nursery to donning hard hats and hi-vis jackets to help with painting and watch cement being poured.
