The 'Angels Welly Beat Schools Challenge' will see children perform the chorus of a song written for the occasion and inspired by the old South African gumboot tradition, and the best fundraisers will get a chance to meet CBeebies presenter Andy Day.
Angels has created a 'Pop Up' school within an informal settlement in Vryburg, South Africa, where children are guided back to school through a musical three-step programme, as well as providing them with food, clothing and toiletries.
Participating settings will receive a teacher's pack with a video of Andy demonstrating the chorus and fundraising ideas. Register before 2 April 2015 at www.angels-charity.org.
