released his latest collection of pictures, Underwater Babies.
The book features photos of more than 70 toddlers aged four to 17 months taking part in infant swimming lessons.
The aim of the collection is to highlight the importance of water safety. According to the Red Cross, one to four-year-olds are most at risk of drowning.
The charity says in the vast majority of cases, children's lack of swimming ability is a contributing factor.
Mr Casteel, who is based in California and is known for his pictures of underwater dogs and puppies, told Today.com, 'The book is a celebration of babies, but there's definitely a serious element to it.'
