More families across Scotland will receive support with their children’s development following the expansion of the PlayTalkRead roadshow fleet.
Specially converted PlayTalkRead buses tour communities across Scotland encouraging parents and carers to play, talk and read more with their babies and young children.
Staff on board offer advice, support and low-cost activity ideas.
Children’s minister Maree Todd launched a third bus, nicknamed Bonnie, and unveiled new bus wraps for the existing vehicles.
Ms Todd said, ‘The addition of Bonnie to the fleet will mean that even more babies and young children can enjoy playing, talking and reading with their loved ones, ensuring they get the best possible start in life.’
