Families will be able to enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities at the Southbank Centre this summer, including live music, shows, workshops, circus and open-air film screenings.
Children can play in the sand at the riverside ‘urban beach’, dodge the jets of Jeppe Hein’s Appearing Rooms fountain or take in the views from the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden.
Inside, a variety of family-friendly shows will be on offer, including Monstersaurus, from the same team behind Aliens Love Underpants; How to Catch a Star, a play adapted from the award-winning book, which combines puppetry and music to follow a boy who dreams of having a star as a friend; and a dance and music show created for and by young people through ZooNation Youth Company.
