The rapidly growing group has acquired Good Manors Day Nurseries, which operates four sites in Hampshire.
Established over 20 years ago, two of the nurseries are based in Fareham, with the others in Portsmouth and Waterlooville.
The deal sees The Old Station Nursery Group grow to 63 settings, providing care for 4,231 children.
Sarah Steel, chief executive of The Old Station Nursery Group, said, ‘We look forward to meeting everyone from Good Manors Day Nurseries in the coming months and are excited for you to be joining our nursery family’.
She continued, ‘As a group, we strive to be the very best at what we do and to always innovate the ways in which we do so.’
A Greater Manchester nursery operator has also added another site, as has a nursery provider operating in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Fiona Jones, owner of Sky High Achievers, which has two settings in Greater Manchester, has bought The Bungalow Day Nursery, also in Manchester (pictured below).
Nursery operators Neil and Marina Sturmey have purchased Rainbows Childcare in Hungerford, Berkshire – their third site.
The couple also operate Turville Forest School Nursery in Turville and Badgemore Pre-school in Henley.
Both deals were handled by Christie & Co.
