Tops Day Nurseries celebrates 25th anniversary

The nursery group planted a time capsule in Poole to celebrate.

Children from each of the Tops Day nurseries contributed letters, drawings and items that represent the ‘current era’ before the capsule was buried.

They helped bury the capsule in the Parkstone Poole nursery garden wearing hard hats and using mini spades.

Managing Director Cheryl Hadland said, ‘I love the idea that future children will have the chance to dig up a slice of the past.

‘The time capsule is a vote of confidence in the future of Tops Day Nurseries and we are all very excited about it.’

Children left notes in the capsule for ‘children of the future’, asking about robot teachers, space ships and tin foil clothes.
