Concept Training's one day course, Introduction to Autistic Spectrum Condition (including Asperger's Syndrome), is aimed at practitioners working with autistic children or adults, who have no formal training.
By the end of the session candidates will be able to recognise the main characteristics of behaviours of people with the condition, understand the complexity of social interaction, appreciate the need for routine and predictability, and appreciate their sensory differences.
The course can be delivered in-house to a maximum of 20 staff and is accredited by the Open College Network at Level two.
