Perhaps one of the potential problems is with the words 'professional nanny', since most other professions have much less of an emotional dimension. Anyone working with children, whether in a group setting such as a nursery or a family home as a nanny, has to acknowledge that having and being aware of your feelings is part and parcel of professionalism.
