Woof, woof

Build this fun game into your cats project (overleaf). Child development opportunities

Child development opportunities

To listen carefully to signals and respond quickly.

To respond individually to a situation.

To develop imagination and dramatisation.

To have fun together.

How to play

* Tell the children they are cats of different sizes and colours.

* The cats play on a lawn in a park, surrounded by big trees. Draw circles on the ground to represent the trees.

* Select one child to be a dog, who is asleep on the grass.

* The cats walk around the lawn playing with each other until the dog wakes. The dog barks, 'Woof, woof!'

* When the cats hear the first 'woof', they run into any tree (circle).
