A patron of the charity since 2014, Miloš Karadaglić will share his tips for young musicians and offer an overview of his career to date as a classical musician. Some of the young people will also have the opportunity to perform during the session.
Karadaglić said: ‘Musical talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not, and the pandemic has only exacerbated the obstacles faced by young people from low income families.
‘While nothing can match the experience of making music in person, I hope that this session will help bring together this community of young musicians and encourage them in their musical journeys.’
AYM has been working with young musicians throughout the pandemic, providing equipment, helping with broadband and data costs and running online sessions, webinars, and social events.
The charity’s annual Awards Day took place online this year in partnership with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and their Learning Team.
