Three-year-olds have all-day provision in the nursery class of theschool where I work. There is no way the teacher or nursery nurse wouldleave a child in soiled clothes. Please do not judge all schools in thesame way. - Tissue - Lack of care in schools
The two- and three-year-olds in my nursery are currently doing thistopic. The room senior arranged for the local fire brigade to come inand the children loved it. They sat in the back of the engine, then inthe front, tried the helmets on, put the lights on. It helped immenselythat the firemen were very friendly and talkative. We've also had aminister in (one of the dads). He brought his guitar, sang songs andspoke to the children - they loved that too. Then we've got visitsplanned from the lollipop lady and a police community support officer. We've also asked one of the mums to come in to talk about how mummieshelp us! - Janny - People who help us.
