EARLY YEARS RESOURCES AND LEARNING ZONE

Be the first to discover the unique collection of TTS new-for-2020 resources, all carefully crafted and educationally aligned. In the Early Years Resources and Learning Zone, immerse yourself in interactive learning areas to inspire your own practice and ignite a sense of awe and wonder in children’s play.

With plenty of free exclusive content and educational expertise, TTS can provide everything you need to create environments where every child can flourish. Visit the zone for the opportunity to win brand-new 2020 resources worth almost £3,000!

EARLY YEARS CAREERS ZONE

As this year’s early years careers partner, the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) will be demonstrating how its unique pedagogy, which is embedded across its approach to childcare, makes LEYF a very special place to work.

The zone will showcase some of the amazing provocations that LEYF’s imaginative nursery teams create every day and a selection of workshops that the LEYF academy offers to staff, including fantasy play, heuristic play that all babies love and how to create a wonderful baby corner.

LIVE THEATRE

The Nursery World Show 2020 programme will offer a great array of free presentations for visitors to the Live Theatre on the exhibition floor. These free-to-attend presentations, delivered by leading suppliers and advocates, will take place at the centre of the show on both days.

INNOVATION ZONE

The brand-new Innovation Zone will offer attendees the chance to join in with dynamic and revitalising workshops, proving that you don’t have to bend over backwards to introduce physical activity into your setting.

The programme includes an introduction to children’s yoga with the founders of Yoginis, Sue Hartley and Katie Brennan, Zumba classes, and sessions on bringing stories, songs and rhythms to life through movement led by Alice Sharp, managing director of Experiential Play and Wonderbox. Angelica Celinska, early years content editor at TTS, will also run sessions on fostering children’s skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths (STEAM).

THE NANNYHUB

Whether you’re an experienced nanny, new to nannying or a nanny-in-training, the NannyHub, an exciting addition to the show this year, will provide unrivalled access to experts from across the sector.

Sponsored by the British Association for Professional Nannies (BAPN), the NannyHub will bring together knowledge from Tinies Childcare, Nannytax, CACHE, The Curiosity Approach and Avail Learning Academy. Experts will be on hand to discuss The Curiosity Approach, qualifications such as T-Levels and Early Years Educator, affordable online training on subjects such as safeguarding and food allergies, as well as payroll, pensions and nanny insurance.

The programme includes presentations on the benefits of working with a professional nanny agency, led by Beverly Munden, franchise manager of Tinies Childcare, a discussion on the benefits of self-employment versus employment, a look at personal development opportunities for nannies, the importance of CPD, and a talk on the benefits of becoming a member of BAPN.
