Portland Nurseries chef Yannick Verrier has devised a wholefood plant-based menu with dietician Lisa Simon and Dr Shireen Kassam, to create a nutritionally balanced offering aimed at tackling future obesity by improving the health and food choices of children.
The meals are cooked in-house at the group of four settings in Huddersfield by a team of qualified chefs, while most ingredients are organic, and sourced locally, with many of the herbs and vegetables grown by the children in the nurseries’ own gardens.
