Our Saturday Masterclass at the Nursery World Show 2017 will examine the role of communication and language approaches in closing the gap for birth to threes.
Considering the evidence and strategies are three top presenters:
- Dr Danielle Matthews, Reader in Cognitive Development at the University of Sheffield, has been sutdying early language devleopment for 15 years. Her session will include latest research findings about language delay and development, and links to socio-economic status. Professor Matthews will also lead a session on contingent talk.
- Penny Tassoni, highly-renowned consultant, trainer and author, will give advice on enriching language and experience across the curriulum/
- Ever-popular trainer Alice Sharp will look at early language and the foundations of literacy.
