Low Pay Commission

Legislation
The Low Pay Commission is gathering evidence to help it decide at what level to set future minimum wage rates.

The LPC - the independent body that monitors the impact of the minimum wage and advises Government on its level - will be reviewing the minimum wage structure, including the minimum wage (paid to under 25s) in light of changes over time in young peoples’ participation in work and education, the National Living Wage and the apprentice rate.
