The Exhibition Centre in Liverpool was the venue for the return of Nursery World North on 11 and 12 May. The early years community came from near and far to see the exhibition featuring many leading suppliers and organisations; to drop in at the special zones; and to attend the fantastic range of masterclasses and seminars led by top early years experts.
Communication and language was the theme of Friday’s half-day masterclass, with Professor Padraic Monaghan leading a team of academics looking at the latest understanding of language development and how to support it.
Saturday saw Jan White, Menna Godfrey, Suzanne Scott and Ann Thompson explore widening the potential of outdoor play and learning with a visual approach.
Seminar speakers including Alice Sharp and Judith Twani received rave reviews on Twitter.
Elsewhere, the Live Theatre and the Nutrition Zone hosted lively presentations, while NEyTCO’s Training & Consultancy Zone and TTS’s Early Years Resources & Learning Zone proved popular.
Thanks too to Voice for sponsoring the show bags, and TUI for lanyards and badges.
Next up is the Nursery World Show in London on 1-2 February. See you there!
