Children and staff from Tops Corfe Mullen made a big pot of vegetable soup to offer to the local community during half-term, when free school meals were not available.
As part of their autumnal activities, staff and children were set to make seasonal vegetable soup during their Halloween party. This activity sparked the idea of cooking a bit extra to help those in need.
Deputy manager Charlotte Richardson said, ‘We are always looking out for ways to support the community while still providing a range of learning experiences for the children we care for.’
