Chu is the cutest of pandas with the biggest of sneezes. He manages to flee the dust in the library and the pepper in the diner before sneezing, but when he visits the circus with his parents, there's no time to make an escape - with gale-force results!
This book is a real hit! Chu is adorable. (Who can resist a baby panda with aviator goggles?) Simple, funny images of Chu against a white background alternate with dense, painterly images reminiscent of American movie posters of the 1950s. The story is deliberately short - and very sweet - leaving it to the superbly detailed illustrations to open up layer upon layer of potential storytelling.
