Again, a traditional tale provides the basis for Jessica Souhami's latest book. Foxy is cunning and sets off with a bee in his large sack. 'Whatever you do, don't look in the sack!' he tells a woman but, of course, she does, and Foxy takes her rooster in exchange. He repeats the trick to acquire a fat pig and finally a little boy. But then he meets a woman who as smart as he is and she is able not only to save the boy but to see off Foxy for good.
Versions of this story are told around the world, and while the characters may vary, a cunning central character and cumulative plot are common to all - and wonderful fun for children.
