Measuring 1m in diameter, PlaytoZ’s new collection of storymats features flaps and pockets to provide surprise and inspiration for storytelling, role play and small-world play. Use them with a storybook, as a stimulus for your own stories or to spark children’s imagination to create their own narratives.
The mats are padded, making them suitable for children to sit, play or sleep on, and have waterproof backing, giving them the versatility to be used both indoors and out.
The mats can be bought on their own or with a bag of themed resources and activity cards. Seaside resources include an ice cream van and selection of sea creatures, while the village mat comes with a variety of vehicles, people, road signs and animals.
Coming soon is a countryside storymat, as are larger (1.5m) versions of the mats currently available.
