That's Mine!

William thinks it's no fun having a sister. Not only does Emma take up all their mum's time, but she wants to play with his toys, especially his favourite, Spotty Cat. But when Emma is ill and nothing can make her stop crying, William has a brilliant idea.

This is a much more satisfying exploration of young children's problem with sharing. William's friend has the same problem: a younger brother who always wants his toys and a mum who says, 'Well, let him have the ones he wants.' The illustrations capture beautifully the children's fury, frustration, bewilderment - and tenderness - when it comes to younger siblings.
