Imagination Playground is now available in the UK from Play Direct. Designed by architect David Rockwell to encourage child-directed, unstructured free play, the kit was launched in the US in 2007 following five years of research on play and playgrounds.
With its focus on moveable loose parts, the product offers a changing array of elements that allows children to constantly reconfigure their environment, indoors and out, and do what they do best and do what they do best: explore, invent, build and dream.
The kit comprises: two moveable storage carts, 75 blue foam blocks and parts in 15 different shapes, 15 foam noodles, five foam balls, assorted fabric pieces and a play guide.
