Diary of an NQT: A busy end to the year

NQTs
Despite year 11 exam leave, it’s a busy end to our NQT diarist’s year – with CPD, parents’ evening and planning for the next academic year...

I have now written my final set of reports for the year! And the final parents’ consultation evening is after school this Tuesday.

Alongside this we have one of our “innovations meetings” on Thursday. These are meetings to allow staff to discuss CPD and best practice. And our final staff twilight CPD session is on Tuesday next week. I was saying in my recent diary entries that things seemed to be calming down, but at the moment there is absolutely loads going on in school.

Year 11 have now been out of school for what seems like months and it is starting to get to that point in the year where panic sets in for some of them.
