Diary of an NQT: Back to the chalkface

NQTs
Fully rested, our NQT diarist is ready to go for round two and is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead, both in and out of the classroom

Here we go, back to it. I feel like I have had a real break and I am ready to get going again for term number two. Dare I say it, I am looking forward to the weeks ahead. The nights are going to gradually get lighter and I may, eventually, be able to leave work while it is still light!

I feel like we have got a huge part of the year finished now. The 14-week-long autumn term was really difficult at times and I am definitely looking forward to the shorter five and six week half-terms ahead.

I am due to deliver the second half of my CPD on behaviour management early this half-term and I am also looking forward to many new and exciting events in school.
