Diary of an NQT: All in a day’s work

NQTs
Choir practice and a night walking expedition – a reminder of the variety we find in school life gives our NQT diarist that ‘love my job’ feeling

I know this is going to sound clichéd, but I am having one of those “I love my job” weeks. We are now at the very end of the preparation for the school’s inter-house Eisteddfod, which I have been so fortunate to be involved with.

I have a love for the school’s house system. As you know by now I used to attend my school as a student and back in the day I was House Captain for one of three houses at the school. The support of these houses at this school always has and always will be amazing!

The Eisteddfod night involves choirs, instrumentals, soloists and dancing – it is truly amazing to behold the talent a school can hold.
